Want a cleaner, healthier indoor air environment?

Is the air in your home or office making you sick? Dirty air ducts in heating and cooling units can contribute to or even cause many of the following problems: allergies, asthma, lack of air flow, headaches, sinus problems, “stale” odors or poor equipment performance. This happens when dust collects on the inside of the ducts, providing an excellent breeding ground for mold, bacteria, fungi, and dust mites. Ductwork carries cool and warm air throughout the building. When the forced air of a heating and cooling system comes into contact with the particles that have been collecting there, it is propelled into the everyday breathing space. These air pollutants are hidden from sight, but not from sensitive noses and respiratory systems. The 1990s saw a dramatic rise in office employees complaining about a variety of ailments, including stuffy heads, sore throats, runny noses, headaches, and late afternoon fatigue. All of these symptoms could be an indication of indoor air pollution, also known as sick building syndrome – a condition that usually subsides when the occupants leave the building. Poor ventilation, inadequate filtration, and contaminated ductwork could all contribute to the proliferation of sick building syndrome, and even reduce the efficiency of existing heating and cooling units.

Cleaned air conveyance systems will run more efficiently resulting in lower repair and maintenance costs as well as providing a cleaner, healthier indoor air environment.
